Before Your Session

Any Photo Session

• Make sure your clothing is free of wrinkles and stains
• It's always great to coordinate colors with your significant other/group
• If you're wearing form fitting clothing make sure to have seamless undergarments, otherwise it will be noticeable
• Bring along any props/sentemental items you would like to include

Beach Sessions

• For best lighting, these sessions start 60-90 minutes before the official sunset
• Coral, navy, blue, grey, linen & white colors work beautifully on the beach
• Barefoot or sandals give the shoot a great relaxed style

Newborn Sessions

• Keep your baby in a loose fitting diaper- to avoid diaper marks on the skin
• Feed baby right before session begins, it helps them fall asleep during all the movement
• Bring your favorite props, blankets and toys. Maybe something sentimental to your family or a stuffed animal that was yours when you were a baby

Maternity Sessions

• For the mom to be, a long flowy dress or form-fitting dress works best
• If you're wearing jeans, non-maternity jeans with a belly band work best
• Bring along baby shoes, sonogram photos or any item that you want to include in the photos

Headshots

• Navy, grey or black work really well for professional headshots
• Make sure all garments are free of wrinkles
• Decide if you want a studio or an outdoor session
